The nominee from our Madrid office is Spanish industrial engineer Elena García Armada.
A world-renowned scientist in the field of robotics, Elena led the team within the Higher Council for Scientific Research (CSIC) that developed the first bionic exoskeleton for children with spinal muscular atrophy.
